The Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences invites applications for the position of a Full Professor (W3) of Economics: Information and Uncertainty at the Department of Economics to be filled by 1 October 2024.

The successful candidate (m/f/d) represents the field of microeconomics in research and teaching. We are seeking an outstanding researcher with expertise in theoretical concepts of individual behavior under conditions of incomplete information and uncertainty with a focus on applied research. The successful candidate must have gained international visibility through relevant publications in international, peer-reviewed journals and must have proven the ability to acquire external funding. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the research area of the Institute of Economics and to participate in the scientific development of the Faculty’s research profile in the areas of digital transformation and/or sustainability. Openness and willingness to collaborate with scientists working quantitatively and empirically is expected.
