Science Award for Dr. Lukas Treber [13.07.21]
The Department of Public Finance congratulates Dr. Lukas Treber on winning the Science Award of the Universitaetsbund Hohenheim e.V. for his remarkable dissertation "Incentives to Enforce and Stimulate: Microeconometric Evidence from Natural Experiments".
With the results of his research, he makes a valuable contribution to the question of how individuals and companies react to governmental framework conditions. His findings are of great social and economic policy relevance and an important basis for future economic and financial policy decisions, e.g. on tax enforcement measures or the sensible use of subsidies.
We are very pleased that the award committee has chosen Dr. Treber in recognition of his outstanding research contribution with the Science Award of the Universitaetsbund.
Dr Treber shares the prize with Dr Tim Ott from the Institute of Zoology.
