Nadja Dwenger is Professor of Economics and holds the Chair for Public Economics at the University of Hohenheim. Furthermore she is an associate professor at the Chr. Michelsen Institute, Norway. She is a research member at the CEPR and at the CESifo.

Nadja Dwenger received her PhD from Freie Universität Berlin in 2010. From 2010 to 2015, she was a research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance in Munich. She has collaborated with diverse public institutions to design more effective public policies. As a visiting scholar, she has conducted research at the University of California in Berkeley (USA), Harvard University (USA), and NHH in Bergen (NO).

As an expert on fiscal policy, she advises the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and the Ministry of Finance Baden-Wuerttemberg.
