Julia Schmid is a PhD student at the Chair of Public Economics at the University of Hohenheim. She is currently working for a member of the Bundestag in Berlin. Until March 2023, she was employed as a research associate and previously as a student assistant at the university. Her research focuses on gender inequality, social insurance, media economics, and trust in governmental institutions.
